Atlas Kasbah, the world's most responsible hotel, in London in 2015

An ecolodge committed to the environment and Moroccan heritage

The Atlas Kasbah ecolodge is an eco-friendly and ethical hotel. It promotes respect for the environment, Moroccan heritage, particularly Amazigh (Berber), and fully participates in the local development of the village of Tighanimine Elbaz in the hinterland of Agadir, on the old trans-Saharan caravan route.

Since 2009, Atlas Kasbah has implemented numerous proactive measures regarding the environment and heritage, prioritizing human connection through awareness campaigns and support for local communities. The ecolodge thus fully embraces the principles of sustainable development, which is why it received the World Responsible Tourism Award in London in 2015.

From its architecture to the materials used (rammed earth, wood, tadelakt...), and the traditional know-how of the master craftsmen, the ecolodge is a showcase of the beauty of Moroccan traditions.
